We visited Lowe's for their Build and Grow projects. We started with a train. I love Lincoln's concentration in this picture!

Christmas 2010

 
 We visited the Children's Museum and got this GREAT picture with Santa. Charlotte asked for a Barbie swimming pool. Lincoln asked for a ball. He was sad to discover that Santa was not going to give it to him right at that moment.

 A visit to Jolly Days means a chance to "ice skate."  Can you tell they are having fun?

A trip to the museum at Christmas time always means a ride on the slide. PawPaw joined us for this trip!

The day gets so busy taking care of three little ones.  I am trying to catch Bennett on camera as much as I can.  He is such a cutey and is a great baby!

First Bath

Bennett's first bath was in the sink and super fast!

Halloween Party 2010

Charlotte is a ballerina and Spiderman couldn't leave home without his football!

First Day of Preschool

Charlotte started preschool today.  She is attending Fishback Creek.
You can see she is actually feeling nervous (chewing on her fingernails) even though she was SO excited to ride the bus.

Lincoln is being held by our sitter in the background.  He was sad he couldn't go too!

Traders Point Creamery

We visited Traders Point Creamery today. First we had a picnic lunch. Then the boys enjoyed climbing on these benches.

Charlotte really wanted that chicken egg.  However, the chickens chased after her once she touched it!


Look, it's a cow!


This baby calf had just been born.  Its body was still wet.  We also witnessed other things that happen after a birth.  It was SO much fun to try to explain to the kids.  They later described it as the cow was pooping and then ate its poop.  What an experience!

Car Trip

The kids have started raising their arms and screaming if we go down the smallest hill. They think it is their own personal roller coaster!

Indianapolis Museum of Art

We visited IMA to have a fun picnic lunch and to play with friends.

I was trying to take pictures of the kids by their ages. They both wanted to be in the picture!

Oh my!  Super cute faces, but not the picture I was hoping for!

The kids were trying to cooperate, but as you can tell from their faces, it was a very HOT day! I gave up trying to get a picture of all four kids together.

Monkey Joe's

I think this will become one of our favorite places to play.  The place is filled with inflatables to climb and to jump.  The kids had a blast!

Lincoln did a great job climbing this big inflatable!

Charlotte was very sweaty because she did NOT stop playing until we told her it was time to leave.

PBS Kids Day

PBS sponsored a free kids day at the park. My kids don't even watch PBS, but they enjoyed the activities.
 I think this will become an annual event for us!

Lincoln & Jack enjoyed the obstacle course.  I think Lincoln liked that he could almost walk through the hula hoop - something his size!

Glendale Library

We love to visit the library. Our new favorite branch is Glendale. They have great little computers for the kids, a play area with legos and puzzles, and a fun storytime. The kids are also participating in their summer reading program to earn fun prizes. I won't lie...they typically just want to choose the candy treat!
