I'm Big!

Bennett insists on using silverware now.  He actually does a pretty good job eating with it.  His shirt shows that a good amount falls off, but he keeps trying!

Monkey Joe's

Bennett had a great time playing in the inflatables.  He was a little nervous at first, but then started jumping and climbing everywhere!

SNOW!!

Charlotte and Lincoln had a blast playing in the snow. They made snowballs and loved throwing them at each other.

Bennett loved being outside and didn't mind when he fell in the snow.  He was smiling and laughing watching his sister and brother throw snow at each other.

Circus

Charlotte and Lincoln had a chance to try on some of the performers' costumes before the circus began.

There was tons to watch with SO many performers and animals.  We definitely recommend it!  I am pretty sure Lincoln has decided we need to go every year.

Bennett sat like this for almost two hours.  There was so much to see!

Christmas at the Zoo

Is it even possible to get all three kids to look at the camera at the same time??

I am sure this peacock was designed exactly for this purpose.

Charlotte always loves to have her picture taken. The outfit was such a perfect Charlotte creation as well!

Visiting Santa 2011

A happy picture with all three kids just wasn't happening this year. But that is okay...

Santa was great about encouraging the kids to tell what they wanted. I just love the looks on the kids' faces in this picture.

Bennett's First Birthday

I tried to make a pumpkin cake.

He loves sweets and definitely enjoyed the cake.

A chair of his very own :)

This was definitely his favorite gift.

Pumpkin Patch

I joined Charlotte on her study trip to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a cold day but lots of fun. We saw farm animals, walked through a corn maze, and played. We even were able to take a small pumpkin home. It was a great day to spend together!

Stonycreek Farms

This is a very fun place to visit.  Many people go in the fall to pick their pumpkins.  But summer was a great time to visit with the beautiful weather and small crowds.

There is a pumpkin train to ride.

The kids can fish in a small pond.

There are these ride on vehicles.

There is a huge jumping pillow.

You can feed some animals.  Watch out for the mean ones!

A hayride took us around the farm, so we could see the pumpkins growing.

The hayride was very relaxing!

Carter's Toy Museum

We visited this museum in Zionsville.  The top two floors have display case after display case of old toys.

Charlotte enjoyed sitting on this horse.

The entire lower level is coin operated rides and bumper cars.  Bennett loved driving this boat!

Rhythm Discovery Center

The center is located downtown.  It is a very fun place with MANY instruments to play.  My kids LOVED visiting and were asking when we could go again immediately after we left.

Charlotte & Lincoln joined a drum circle.

They even paid attention during the tour.  Our guide told us about various instruments around the world and demonstrated many of them.  Lincoln kept asking, "My have a turn?"  Luckily, there were many opportunities to play instruments.

We thought it was fun that there were so many supersize instruments.  The kids played this xylophone, a large wind chime, a huge drum, and a gong just to name a few.  They also had a blast in the sound proof rooms banging on drum sets.
