Playing at Home

 

Charlotte loves the ponies she got for Christmas. I guess they wanted to play in the dishes.

 

Lincoln can get into the kitchen drawer now. I actually found his pacifier in there the other day!

 

Charlotte is writing thank you notes for her Christmas presents.

Charlotte was SO excited to find presents under the tree. She helped Lincoln open his new drum.

Charlotte opened her new camera. It is a digital camera - real pictures!

Christmas Eve

We begin Christmas Eve at Clark's grandparents house. This year was a blast with many little ones who were very excited about Christmas.

 

Charlotte enjoyed opening all of her presents, but as you can see, she couldn't wait to put on her princess dress.

 

Charlotte and Lincoln with Grandpa - is it even possible to get two kids looking at the camera at the same time? She is wearing Tinkerbell pajamas. In a matter of a few hours, this is outfit number 3 for Charlotte.

 

Lincoln loves his laptop! It even has a mouse.


Then we celebrate with my mom's side of the family at our house.

 

It was a wonderful surprise for my cousin Sarah to be here. She has been living in Italy for the past two years. She was in town for a short visit before moving to Argentina.

Lincoln slept through most of the presents which meant more for Charlotte to open!

Indiana State Museum

The Indiana State Museum had free admission today. We took the opportunity to visit Santa and ride on the train. It was a great visit with MawMaw and the kids!

 

Lincoln enjoyed visiting with Santa.

 

Charlotte didn't want anything to do with Santa. She finally stood by him while I was standing there. Then I was able to sneak out of the picture. The photographer did get a cute shot of her though.

 

There was a long line for the train, so Charlotte and MawMaw stopped to color a picture.

 

They are so excited to ride the train. Charlotte loves the ride! We had to drag her off of the train.

 

Charlotte had fun feeling the beard on the huge nutcracker. She would not pose for a picture with him though.

 

Lincoln enjoyed sitting in the big stroller, so he could see what was going on.

 

There was a group playing Christmas music. We listened for a little bit, and Charlotte had to dance!

 

We stopped to visit the train from the old Ayers.

After the museum, we met PawPaw at McDonald's for lunch.

 

Charlotte and MawMaw played some video games after we were done eating.

Charlotte let me put her hair in a ponytail. Doesn't she look cute with her hair up in her little tutu?

Selke Christmas

Bud's family gathered this past weekend for Christmas.

 

Charlotte opened up a container of play-doh. We have had lots of fun playing with it!

Early Christmas

Brian's girlfriend, Shannon, is spending Christmas with her family in Ohio. We had an early Christmas with her, so she could see everyone open their presents from the two of them.

 

Charlotte received a recliner from her Uncle Brian and Shannon. She is relaxing with her feet up. She loves the chair and the Dora video too!

Charlotte was so excited to help put up the Christmas tree. She loved putting on the ornaments.

Fun Visit

We don't get to visit with Jordan very often, so it was a nice surprise when she visited with Sarah and my dad.

Santa

 

We went to my school to visit Santa. Charlotte did not want anything to do with him. Once we showed her that Lincoln was sitting on his lap, she did at least stand by him.

First Snow

 

Charlotte could not wait to play in the snow. She didn't care there was less than an inch on the ground. Clark buddled her up and headed outside.

 

They did manage to make a tiny snowman!

Happy Thanksgiving

Each year we begin Thanksgiving Day by visiting with Clark's family at his grandmother's house.

Then we go to my Aunt Julie's house (my mom's sister) for our second Thanksgiving. We have a long day, but it is great to visit with family!
