Horsey Ride

Charlotte couldn't leave Meijer this morning without riding the horse. Who knew spending a penny would lead to so much fun?

Day at the Lake

Charlotte and Lincoln with Grandma and Grandpa

Charlotte loves to play with Grandpa's phone. It plays Alan Jackson's Five O'Clock Somewhere. She holds the phone up to her ear and just dances. It is great to watch. The song is definitely one of her favorites.

Lincoln really enjoys looking around now. It was a little chilly though, so we had to cover him up.

We finally sat together to get a picture of all our blue eyes!

Visit with Granny

Lincoln met his Granny this weekend. Clark's mom came for a visit all the way from Georgia. It was wonderful to see her!

Charlotte enjoyed some time with Granny too!

Eagle Creek Park

We visited the Earth Discovery Center at Eagle Creek Park. Here Charlotte is saying hi to the turtle.

She also saw lots of snakes - real ones this time!

The pond had goldfish in it. We had to be really quiet though, or they would hide from us.

Children's Museum

We had to visit the Curious George exhibit again and go down the slide.

Charlotte made a star in the craft area. She loved sprinkling the glitter.

She enjoyed playing in the sand.

She stopped for a minute to play with the trains, but she couldn't let go of lawnmower. It doesn't matter that she has the same lawnmower at home!

In the animation exhibit, there is a fun place where you can dance & get your picture taken. Then the pictures are shown on a monitor. She didn't care about watching the pictures. She just LOVED dancing!

dancin' dancin' dancin'!!

We visited the classroom of Ruby Bridges, and Charlotte loved sitting at a student desk.

Lincoln slept the entire visit again! It actually made it pretty easy to have both of them with just me this way though.

Arbuckle Acres Park

Last Sunday, we visited Arbuckle Acres Park in Brownsburg. Charlotte really enjoyed the playground. Here she is people watching.

She is riding a motorcycle. Watch out!

This was Charlotte's favorite slide. Most of the other slides felt pretty hot because of the sun.

She also loved when Clark went down the slide too.

Lincoln slept most of the time we were there, but we did catch him awake for a quick picture.

My Swimming Pool

Charlotte enjoyed swimming in her new pool. She loves to play in the water.

It didn't take long for her to complaing that she was wet. Then she insisted on taking off her swimsuit. She didn't mind swimming in just the swim diaper. Here she is getting her hair wet. Well that's one way to do it!

She also enjoyed going down the slide while she was wet. She did stick a little bit, but she didn't seem to mind.

One-Month-Old

Lincoln is one-month-old today. I waited a little too long to take the picture, so he was getting upset. At his doctor's appointment, he weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is staying little for now!

Snake!

Charlotte was screaming, "Snake, Mommy, Snake!!" I was a little worried when I stepped outside and saw this. If it is difficult to see, she is staring at a worm.

Indianapolis Zoo Trip

We visited the zoo for the first time.

Charlotte was excited to have PawPaw join us!

We first visited the koalas and actually were able to see them awake.

visiting the birdies

watching the snakes

Charlotte was amazed by the bear and just said, "Wow!"

She really enjoyed watching all of the animals. It didn't take long for her legs to get tired though. She convinced Daddy and PawPaw to carry her a lot!

Charlotte waiting for the dolphin show to begin. Unfortunatley, most of the pictures of the dolphins didn't turn out because of the lighting.

Charlotte was pretty hot and tired when we left and quickly fell asleep in the car.
