Happy Birthday!

Charlotte had her birthday party today. We greatly appreciated that so many people joined us to celebrate Charlotte's second birthday. Thank you SO much for being here!

Charlotte couldn't wait to start eating the cake. She dug right in even before Clark was able to start cutting pieces for everyone.

 

Charlotte opened lots of presents. It was hard to keep up with her this year. Things were flying out of the gift bags before we even had a chance to read the card.

 

She especially enjoyed her guitar. It was the first present she opened, and she wouldn't open anything else until it was out of the box!

Doctor's Visit

 

Charlotte visited Dr. Leedy for her two-year appointment today. Everything was great! She weighs 30 lbs and is 2 feet 9inches tall. She loved playing on the slide while we waited to see the doctor.

Happy Birthday!

On Charlotte's birthday, we enjoyed a dinner out just the three of us. The waiters sang to her. She was a little overwhelmed but definitely LOVED the dessert. Then we went shopping at Toys R Us. Charlotte loved going up and down the aisles trying out all of the toys. She finally settled on a lawnmower and rubber ball. We also decided she needed a small swimming pool and a new swing.

We are still in shock that Charlotte is two and are enjoying every minute watching her become a little girl. Sorry we don't have pictures. We had trouble digging the camera out of my purse. I guess that is a hint that I need to clean it out!
