New Coat

 

Charlotte got a new coat from Grandma and insisted on wearing it. As you can see by her shorts, it was NOT cold enough for it, but she didn't care.

 

Lincoln enjoyed cuddling with Grandpa.

Safety Fair

 

Today we visited a safety fair at a local elementary school. We started our visit with face painting. Isn't Charlotte's butterfly beautiful?

 

Lincoln was happy hanging out in the stroller and listening to all of the sounds.

 

 

Charlotte got to pet the police horse.

 

She also got to sit in a helicopter. She was frustrated because she wanted to get in the front to drive it!

 

She loved the bounce houses. It was hard to get her to leave them!

 

She was a little scared of the safety dog, but she did give him a high five.

 

She enjoyed sitting on the dirtbike, but she didn't really like the helmet.

 

She was driving the firetruck. She sat here for a long time!

My Feet!

 

Lincoln has discovered his feet and loves to put them in his mouth!

 

Anytime the camera is out - Charlotte wants her picture taken.

Birthday Party

 

Nathan is Charlotte's "best buddy" at the sitter. Nathan just turned 3.

 

Charlotte was playing put the spider on the spiderweb. The theme was Spiderman!

Everyone, including Charlotte, had to help Nathan open his presents!

 

Lincoln cuddled up and went to sleep - even with all of the noise from the party.

St. Malachy Country Fare

 

We visited the fare last night for food and fun. Charlotte's first ride was on the carousel.

 

Lincoln enjoyed hanging out in the stroller. He enjoyed watching all of the lights on the rides.

 

Charlotte's next ride was the ferris wheel. She enjoyed it but did shake a little when the ride came down. It was hard to get a good picture of her smiling since her face was often hidden by the bar.

Look at that face! She settled for this ride. She really wanted to ride the fish. We were trying to squeeze in one more ride before the rain got any worse.

 

I think she made herself comfortable!

 

Lincoln was trying to stay dry while his sister played on the playground.

Playdate

 

We had a playdate this week with Jack. Charlotte just loves him!

 

The playdate was also with Angie's girls - Paige & Sydney. I didn't do a great job of taking pictures. Here is the only one of Paige, and I didn't even get one of Sydney. Sorry! I'll do better about pictures next time!

Cuddling

 

Charlotte wanted to hold the baby. It was a perfect time to catch them both cuddling in their pajamas!

Birthday Bash

 

The twins, Clark's nieces, celebrated their fourth birthday with a party at the park. It was a bit breezy, so they had to pretend to blow out the candles.

 

Kaylee was excited to get new clothes and a Barbie.

 

Kaylynn enjoyed modeling her clothes, but she was definitely more excited about her bag of candy!

 

Lincoln was feeling cuddly!

 

Once Charlotte saw that her Grandpa was holding Lincoln, she insisted he hold her too!

Bath Time

 

Lincoln is in a routine now of a nightly bath. I had to take a quick picture of him!

 

Charlotte wanted everyone to see her muscles!

Labor Day Cookout

Labor Day weekend ended with a cook-out at my dad and Terry's.

 

Lincoln enjoyed some tummy time with PawPaw.

 

Charlotte always asks PawPaw to push her in the swing.

 

Charlotte enjoyed playing croquet. She did pretty well, and when she got frustrated, she just picked up the ball and threw it!

 

After a very busy weekend, Charlotte fell asleep pretty quickly on the car ride home.
