Indiana State Museum

 

We visited for the last days of the Winter Exhibit which meant Charlotte could enjoy the train ride. She LOVED it. It was great that the place wasn't very crowded because she was able to ride a couple of times. It didn't make it any easier to stop riding, but at least Clark and I both could take a turn with her.

Christmas Morning

Charlotte was excited this year to discover presents under the tree. She enjoyed unwrapping everything.

 

Charlotte is very proud of her new tricycle!

 

This was her vacuum. We are placing bets on how long the batteries will last since she has it running constantly. Too bad it doesn't actually clean!

First Haircut

 

Charlotte had her first haircut today. Clark's Aunt Robin gave a quick trim.

 

Charlotte was this serious the entire time. She certainly didn't think this was a big deal!

Fall Leaves

 

Charlotte wasn't too sure about the leaves at first, but she started to enjoy sitting in them. However, she sat perfectly still even keeping her arms in exactly the same place. She finally smiled when we threw some leaves but was much happier out of the pile.

The Wonders of Yogurt

 

Did you know yogurt does wonders for your complexion and hair? This must be what Charlotte was thinking when she smeared strawberry yogurt all over herself. I couldn't resist taking a picture of it!

Guess What?

 

Here is Charlotte's reaction when she found out she is going to be a big sister! The next little one is scheduled to arrive May 15, 2008. We are just as excited as Charlotte :)

Happy Halloween!

 

Charlotte was very excited to be in her costume and to go trick-or-treating, especially since it was only 7:30 in the morning! She went with mom to the office for some morning trick-or treating. Then she went again in the evening to visit Mamaw and Papaw. She loved putting candy in her cauldron!

Halloween at Running T

 

Charlotte visited Grandma & Grandpa for a Halloween celebration at Running T. We just had to put Charlotte in Aunt Susie's cauldron again!

Charlotte was doing a great job of posing for us!




Clark calls this her "mommy pose." There is a picture of me doing this at a family reunion when I was about the same age. It's always fun to look at the world upside down, isn't it?



Charlotte is fascinated by the fishtank right now. Frequently, we find her standing in front of the fishtank pointing and talking to the fish. Yesterday she decided it would be more comfortable to sit down. She pulled this little chair next to the fishtank and just took a seat!

Hello?

I had to get the fax machine out earlier this week. Charlotte really enjoyed talking on the phone. 

She especially liked that the buttons made noise when she was dialing.
